We are a student-led organization, so are familiar with some of the stresses and strains that graduate student life brings, and also some of the requirements for a fun and productive time as a graduate student. However, the Council is a new body, and every student’s experiences and needs are different. We encourage you to get in touch and tell us how we can best serve you.
This website is intended as an information hub, a repository for useful facts about the community around you, both within the College of Forestry and beyond. Check our calendar for upcoming events, including opportunities to support your fellow students at defences and presentations. We invite you to contact us with new information to share about relevant academic or social events, online and on-campus learning opportunities, the local area, or anything else you think that other students should know about – whether it is an upcoming research seminar or conference, a room to rent in your house, or a majestic, structurally-complex, 1000-year-old tree festooned with mistletoe and curtains of brilliant green moss that you found on a local hike!
