Elizabeth “Betsy” Emery is an M.S. student in the Forest Ecosystems and Society program. Her research involves risk perception and decision making, with a specific focus on how our core values affect our acceptance of biotechnologies. When she isn’t organizing events for the Graduate Student Council or reading about cognitive psychology, you can find her hiking in the Cascade wilderness or dancing at a concert in Portland.
